Silk Road Networking

Since 2013 momentum has grown around Silk Road multilateralism. For some the term is mere branding. Elsewhere, think tanks, university alliances, and a multitude of conferences have taken up the Silk Road concept to build new collaborations, address fresh topics or reframe existing programs in ways that respond to the shifting geopolitical landscape. This is an emerging space, both geographically and thematically, and the examples presented here illustrate some of the ways the Silk Roads are being strategically deployed to build futures.
